Who am I to think that I should be free?

We all strive for freedom. The moment the seed is sown, the mind begins to think about the growth of the seed. The mind tries to water the plant and tries its best to make it green. The mind begins to interrogate itself as to whether it has any purpose in the world where it lives. That is natural for the mind and let us leave it as it is. Let us not resist the mind. Of course, we are here for a purpose and we cannot deny that. If there is no purpose, then we would have 'left' long time back! We run madly behind the truth when it is very much within us. Let us 'aspire' for 'freedom' and not 'desire' for it. Let the observation of truth be as natural as possible, for truth is natural and nothing else is asscociated with it. If the mind is able to achieve calmness and make it still - as still as clear water in a pond under any given circumstance, then it begins to move towards truth. Let us keep enacting in the puppet show as long as it is needed, for the holder of the thread will release the thread when it has to be released :)

Very true. Aspiration is the Soul's awakening for the liberation from Maya. So you tell it's Him who will make us realize our Self to seek the Truth. If that's true, notwithstanding of Him releasing the thread, would we ever try to aspire at all ?
By the way, your metaphors are really good.
