I know that happiness is born when ignorance vanishes. Then how not to be ignorant? Simple! Staying happy! Sounds like a circle. But then it is just a horizontal rod bent to be a circle! Just identifying the ends would do!

How can you make ignorance vanish by being happy? Unless learning is what makes me happy, ignorance is not going go away. Ever heard of 'Ignorance is bliss?'
I think happiness is rather a state of soul than the state of mind. ..I dont tell myself, I am happy. rather..I feel happy. Mind being influenced by everything around us tries to "know" and remains unhappy but the soul knowing all, remains separate and untouched.
Also, if I am happy eating an ice cream and just stay that way, I am not going to become wiser than knowing I might be adding a couple of 100 lbs to my weight and the realization that ice cream makes me happy.
But I do accept the other way. Gaining knowledge does make you happy.

Giving happiness and receiving happiness - Is there anything like that? Happiness could be felt or may be ignited. How can one give and receive happiness?

If happiness is a phase of mind, you can give and take..But it is a feeling of the soul..you can only feel happy or "feel not being happy" ..It is like the dark and the light. One is the absence of the other.
Ignorance vanishes by just staying happy - Ignorance of myself , just myself, which is everything. Giving and receiving happiness is all in the myth.
Happiness is the state of everything.Would quote " " the things told to me in all my posts.
