Practice makes us perfect

We would have acquired knowledge from various sources. At our younger ages, we would have been instructed by elders to do this and not to do that. It is only the practice of such things which have made us what we are today. Mere listening would not help us. Mere knowing is of no value. Knowing is not doing. Let us practise and gain knowledge through practice itself. As we practise more, we explore more and hence knowledge is guarenteed. We might think that scriptures are for making the world better. No denial that scriptures are great teachers. But the greatest of all is the self- teacher. The experiences that we undergo are the best repositories of knowledge. The search of truth makes the mind to go behind knowledge at all time. Let us not worry about that for it is natural for the mind to behave that way. When real maturity happens, all the knowledge seem to be within us. Each day gives a new experience. Each moment gives a new experience. Let us preserve the awareness obtained this way. The only source of such an awareness is nothing other than the self. The awareness obtained in such a manner will not result in greed for more awareness, for such an awareness is pure. Hence let us practise and be more aware.
