We all would have wondered about the concept of mind control. We may be tempted and we may act in a certain manner under a certain circumstance. As long as any resistance is provided to anything, it tries to release itself from it and mind is no exception to this. Control of mind is nothing but an artificial fence that we put around our mind. This fence is very much virtual. It is no real fence. It could be easily broken. The real fence has to come from within. What can build this real fence? The only way this real fence begins to build is when the war between the mind and conscience starts. The real fence - the unbreakable and unshakable one is built when the war ends and conscience wins. This real fence building happens to us everyday either with or without our knowledge. Sometimes the mind plays its trick in the war and wins and the real fence breaks halfway. Hence in reality, there is nothing called mind control. Controlling anything is of no great use. It is yet another aspect to quench our thirst for ego. It gives us yet another chance to proclaim to ourselves that 'Yes! I have controlled my mind'. Hence let us not control the mind. Instead let us support the conscience and help it to win in the war and hence allow the real fence to build successfully. If such a real fence is strongly built around ourselves, will we ever talk about mind-control again? Indeed the mind begins to get matured and realize that it has not lost the war, but indeed has won and understands that the 'real fence' is 'not a fence really' , but a door to reality.
