Suffering

Had a conversation with a colleague of mine regarding 'suffering' and hence this post.
A minute of thought of who is that who is 'suffering' would do. From where does this feeling of suffering come from? The only root cause is the feeling of 'I'. As long as we associate this 'I' with this field and mind of ours, so long would the suffering follow. As long the thought that people owe us something prevails, so long would the suffering follow. Let us understand that nobody has any owning business with us. If we help someone, it is just that we are doing our role there. We were needed for that 'someone' at that time and hence we were sent. We do not have anything else associated with that helping action of ours. Let us act and let us forget the next moment. The very thought of who was that who helped and who was that who got the help would do. We have not done anything great by helping. Let us not make it yet another chance to tell ourselves that 'Yes! I helped'. When the mind does not find anything to quench the ego-thirst, it troubles itself. Fear is another by-product associated with this suffering. Fear comes due to rejection. Fear comes due to meaningless comparisons. The moment the mind does not find anything to support its ego, it pitiably begins to fear. The thought,'What if I lose! Never should that happen' comes and hence the suffering. There is nothing to fear for in this world except for one's conscience. Where there is fear there is no love. The very thought that 'Am suffering' is yet another reason for suffering. It results in nothing else other than self-pity and hence blocks the way to reality. Where there is self-pity, there is suffering. It is just a circle that goes. The mind would keep rotating only within this circle and would struggle to come out of it. Soemtimes the mind might not be even aware that it has to come out of it and it has caught within this circle. The time is the hero here. It is only through the experiences the mind undergoes, that it gets matured. The moment the realization that action should be done for the sake of action alone is achieved, will the mind think about suffering again? Only eternal joy remains thereafter. Hence let us be true to our conscience and make ourselves eternal happy.
